Who is behind this cancer nutrition course?

Many people go through this program on their own and do really well. Our goal is that it's easy to go through by yourself and you will have the option to post questions within each lesson. But, if you're finding you want more support and have questions that you'd like to ask us directly, we do have a group coaching membership available which includes full access to this course. You will be able to upgrade to group coaching through the course portal. You can learn more about group coaching here. 

What if I want more support?

This program was designed to be helpful for either the person moving through cancer OR their caregiver(s) who is helping them through this journey. As a support person, you will learn how best to assist your loved ones with the right dietary choices to help them feel better and optimize their recovery. It will take the guesswork out of what foods and meals to provide them depending on where they are in their cancer journey and will ultimately give you the peace of mind that you are taking an active role in supporting their healing.

What if I'm not the person going through cancer?

We encourage people to allow about an hour per lesson. This will give you plenty of time to watch the video (which are less than 60 minutes each), go through the resources and handouts, and make a plan to take action. Ultimately, though, you can go through the lessons as fast or as slow as you'd like! That's the beauty of a "self-paced" program. You can give yourself an hour a day and get through it in one week or take an hour a week and get through it in 6 weeks. With lifetime access to this program, you can go back and re-watch the lessons whenever or as often as you'd like.

What if I'm not sure I have the time to do it?

Not a problem! Although we designed this program to support someone moving through treatment, the anticancer diet principles will be relevant and important for anyone trying to heal from cancer, reduce their risk for recurrence, or prevent cancer in the first place. These are the exact same principles our dietitians apply in their personal life and with all the clients we coach one-on-one.

What if I'm not actively receiving cancer treatment right now?

The goal of this program is to provide you with strategies and ideas to keep it as simple as possible. So, even when you don't have much energy, there will still be nourishing quick options to choose from. We also suggest that you recruit someone to support you in implementing what you're learning, such as a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or friend. Also keep in mind that, by following the lessons in this program, week-by-week, you will gain more energy and feel less sick which makes it easier to apply what you're learning.

What if I’m too tired or sick to cook?
